What personal information we collect about you

Whether you are contacting us initially through this website, or via the phone or email, we will collect and store, your name, the Company name and address, one or more contact numbers and your email address.

How the information is used

The main ways in which we use your personal information are to:

  • Communicate with you and provide information on specific areas relevant to financial services and your back-office system. This data is stored on our CRM system and our communication software.
  • Create an account if we undertake work for you, so we can create invoices and lodge payments. The data is stored in our accounting package.

All the proprietary applications used have their own Privacy Policies, which we have reviewed, and which you can view below.

Data sharing

Jacana Limited only shares your data with our local mailing house. We will only provide those companies with the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

We will not disclose your information to any other party, for any other reason, unless we are requested to and required to do so, by law.

Use of log files (cookies)

Jacana Limited utilises visitor log files (cookies) with our website. Once a user enters our site, a cookie follows them through their click stream path. Examples of information being collected by these cookies include the number of times a user came to our site(s), and the paths they took to get there.

A “cookie” is a small line of text that is stored with your web browser for record-keeping purposes and helps Jacana Limited provide better service to you. Your browser has options to accept, reject, or provide you with notice when a cookie is sent.

You may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. Find out how to do so here.

Google Analytics

We use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect data from those who visit our website. This data is used to determine how many visitors reach our site, user location, visitor behaviour patterns and clickthrough rates. We do this to monitor the performance of our website, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and making improvements where necessary.

The information provided via this platform DOES NOT include personal details about our visitors, and we do not attempt to determine the identities of those visiting the website.

For further information, please see Google’s privacy policy here.
